The Pythagorean theorem is a hallmark of high school geometry classes. It is the most ultizied way to find the length of the sides of a right triangle. A right traiangle has three sides: A, B, and the hypotenuse. By substituting two lengths into the forumula below, it becomes very simple to find the third length:

A^2 + B^2 = C^2
